Across the Ventura County Coast region, several hotels have recently completed renovations or rebrands, and new hotels are coming soon. The new developments will result in over 1,100 additional rooms being added to the destination.

On the Horizon: Embassy Suites and Conference Center is part of a 14-acre development master plan by RYS Architects.

Meeting Space: Can accommodate large conferences with its 17,500 SF of meeting and pre-function space with additional outdoor break-out areas including a large courtyard.
Amenities: The hotel amenities include a restaurant, sports bar, fitness center, and outdoor pool and spa, as well as a separate Brazilian steak house destination restaurant and wine bar. The destination restaurant and the hotel lobby open out onto an outdoor dining courtyard. The exterior design complements the architecture of the Camarillo Premium Outlets and surrounding development.

On the Horizon: As part of a 14-acre development including a conference center, Embassy Suites Hotel, and restaurant/retail buildings master planned by RYS Architects, the exterior design of this Home2 Suites was guided by the Camarillo Heritage District design guidelines for Mediterranean style architecture. Some of the suites have balconies with views to the mountains and the ocean.

On The Horizon: Located on Peninsula Road in Oxnard, this project is a new, ground-up Hyatt House Hotel with 270° ocean views. The new 4-story Hyatt House Hotel will contain 210 guestrooms, a lobby, a restaurant and lounge, a meeting space, and an outdoor pool area that enjoys waterfront views. The hotel includes a signature 2nd-floor rooftop bar and outdoor lounge, as well as a 5,400 SF separate specialty restaurant located adjacent to the porte-cochere and forms a public plaza.

What’s New: Staybridge SuitesOxnard River Ridge has undergone a $16 million dollar renovation of all the suites as well as exterior paint and landscaping. The property also recently updated its meeting space, which includes 10 meeting rooms totaling 12,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel is conveniently located near Ventura Beach and popular local destinations, including The Collection Riverpark, Channel Islands National Park, and Naval Base Ventura County. This is the largest Staybridge hotel in North America.
