Please tell us about your business. Located in the heart of downtown Ventura, The Bright Side Salon is a place of laid back, positive vibes. We are a group of experienced professionals who strive to make our clients feel beautiful and confident. We continually educate ourselves to offer you the latest and greatest services, including all things hair—cut, color, hair extensions and more! Check us out on the corner of California and Santa Clara!

Why did you base your business in Ventura County Coast? I’m so lucky to have my business in downtown Ventura, so close to the beach and other wonderful shops and restaurants. I love that we have such a strong community that is so supportive of local businesses!

What is your favorite thing about Ventura County Coast? My favorite thing about Ventura County Coast is how close we are to everything! The beach, the mountains, the city. The weather is always great and I love the laid back vibes.

 If someone is planning a visit to Ventura County Coast, what are five things you recommend they pack for the trip?

  1. A bathing suit for the beach
  2. Hiking shoes for the trails
  3. A bike for the boardwalk
  4. Sunscreen… just in case!
  5. Cocktail dress for the nightlife

What is your favorite restaurant in Ventura County Coast? I love Café Fiore! It’s right across the street from my salon.

What’s the best thing on the menu? I love their Tortellacci Di Zucca. It’s my favorite, my mom’s favorite, and my grandma’s favorite!

What 5 things would you recommend someone do when visiting Ventura County Coast?

Please explain your perfect day in Ventura County Coast. My favorite thing to do is to pick up a breakfast burrito at Corrales and sit in the back of my Jeep at Surfer’s Point. I could spend all day at the beach!
